PAN is a community of patient / caregiver partners committed
to help improve Canadian healthcare for all
Independent – Informed – Connected
Welcome to the Patient Advisors Network (PAN). We are a vibrant virtual community of patient and caregiver partners from across Canada, dedicated to improving healthcare for everyone.
PAN has a unique dual purpose as a non-profit organization: Â
First, PAN is a community of practice for engaged patient/caregiver partners who want to make healthcare better. We bring together people from diverse backgrounds and regions in Canada to share their experiences, offer education, and support each other. Whether you’re new to patient partnership or have been involved for a while, the community of practice helps you learn and grow by providing capacity building and peer to peer support to members.
Second, PAN is a social enterprise practice offering services to healthcare organizations and teams. We focus on partners and work that support improving healthcare and improving how to involve patients and caregivers in those activities. As a diverse community of patient/caregiver partners, we bring our collective insights to shaping healthcare practices, policies and research through the projects we collaborate on as PAN.
Community of practice: Membership is open to patients and caregivers interested in driving meaningful change in healthcare delivery.Â
Social enterprise practice: Collaborating, learning, and improving healthcare to be inclusive, compassionate and responsive to all.
